Great restaurant food was amazing and possibly the best mint sauce I've had with poppadoms. Have tried a takeaway and also sat in the restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Top Drawer indian meal
I have been eating at Newick Tandoori for 30 years and it remains the best food and service; a lovely restaurant, still run by the same lovely family owners. It is not cheap, but that is because they always use top quality ingredients and produce many original seasonal special dishes worth a try.

Visited on a Friday lunchtime. Wanted to sample this Restaurant for many years, as it has always had a good reputation. Have to confess I was somewhat apprehensive as these sort of things often don't live up to expectations. Am pleased to confirm an excellent experience. Getting the ONLY negative out of the way first - the popadoms were rather soft and lukewarm. However, I loved the Coriander and chilli dip! A new one on me. The rest of the meal was a WOW! Best Onion Bhajis I've had in years. Bombay potato (this is my preference) soft and tasty. Sag Panir wonderfully melted. The Mushroom Rice was also one of the nicest I've had for some time. My Garlic Chilli Chicken absolutely perfect. Service was friendly and discreet. Portions were ample. Definitely one for another visit.
Lived in village for 7 years now and for one reason or another it was my first visit to m Newick Tandoori and wow.... Food was absolutely amazing, the chicken within the curry was the best I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve been to ALOT of curry restaurants) service was also great with very friendly, welcoming staff. I will be returning very soon and not be going further afield for my curries!! Thank you.
